The sun has gone by...

It's my first attempt using ND Grad Filters, it's quite fun and effective..no more silhouttes that I didnt wanted...
This image is what I visualized...bright and sharp detail from the foreground untill the background

I would like to dedicate this image to the great photographers that inspired and helped me choosing this invaluable filter :)

Nice colour and gradient. This is a better shot than the other although the other was almost a better composition. The branch and ribbons spoiled the other shot by distracting from the scene. This has no distractions allthought the colour is not as deep. This one has symetrical vignetting in the upper sky which is better... rotation of filters?? is one graduated? Keep experimenting.. I need a .9 myself.. I use the polariser with my gradated .6.. makeshift!

In both of the photos I used the same Graduate ND filters the different the overall brightness of the scene...this one was taken shortly after the sun was setting while the other one was taken a couple of minutes after this shot

thank you, it called Manado Tua...in English it's Old Manado...not sure why they called it that :D
